Yeah, Baba Yaga's hut walks round on chicken legs. Don't you have those where you live?

Well done, repetitive hihats are the bane of the drum programmer. That's why I like EZDrummer, it has an algorithm to randomly vary which hihat sample it plays on each beat.

Nice guitar solo - short though, I wanted to hear a bit more of that!

Thanks.....I'm not a solo type of guitar player,
I do like my solos, but my skill level is not where I would like it to be.
add them when I think it may need it, but i can do without,
I think they need to say something, or add to the song, not to just fill space.
but i do like them when done right, it really bothers me when i can't do it like i hear it in my head.. lol

Well here's my new recording. Continuation of that acoustic riff I uploaded a few weeks ago. Working on a lead track but what I kept recording sounded like I was practicing scales. :?

not saying i know how it's done, but i mostly start with playing a simple melody line i have in my head, then expand on it. sometimes less is better.

One song I did in a rushed recording session with my old band. That's me doing the best I could on vocals:

This seemed like a fun project Mike. She has a great voice but there's some harmony right at .56 that doesn't work for me, even in the context of this song. But, I'm just being picky, I know how much work went into this and it shows. Great job!

I agree. Kath has a nice timbre to her voice and unique harmonies, but she still suffers a bit from wandering notes and phrasing that plods along..
She would benefit a lot if she would allow someone (professional) to train her voice and delivery, but I think she's of the opinion it would dilute her spontaneous originality..

it doesn't sound as heavy as these demos cause i'm really punk based but the rest of the band are more indy rock based

The last 15 minutes of my first time ever playing with a full band. I know I played sloppy (rhythm guitar), but I was very tired by then, and I just don't have the endurance yet to play using only chord shapes. My fretting hand fatigues and cramps up and won't obey my brain. :D
