"Clapton" colours for the Strat.

Ice Blue, Dakota Red and Butterscotch Blonde for the Tele.

Fiesta Red is my favorite Fender color.

I love anything orange-y...Fiesta Red, Tangerine Flake/Metallic/whatever, etc. Just about the only "orange" I don't like is the old 80's Day-Glo colors...I don't know if that was the official name or if Fender actually ever offered that hue, but the Day-Glo colors turn me off.

I like variety and it depends on the venue (for my imaginary gigs). I guess if I *had* to have only one strat or tele, I might pick black. But I might pick 2 tone sunburst. Really hard to say. I like white and blue and red too.

Ha. I seem to have missed this. There's obviously a story behind that guitar - got a link or summat, please?

Anyway: fave colours. From my own stable, I especially love my Sienna Sunburst and of course good ol' Fiesta Red. And my Sonic Blue Strat. And the black one. And it has to be Natural for the Tele. And Wine Red on a Les Paul is obligatory.

And, and...

Yet to get: Tobacco Burst is high on the list. And Surf Green. And Ocean Turquoise.

And, and...

As was stated earlier in this thread, my favorite color is Olympic White with a rosewood board. One of my early guitar teachers had one and I fell in love with it. It's just a clean and classy look.

Take the body of the second one (because it's HT) and then paint it like the first one.

The orange, at least, isn't completely boring.

Now, while I'm getting ready to get stoned by probably 99% of all guitarists, I'd like to take my chance and quickly say before I die: I like some of his songs played by others like SRV, Julian Sas and other popular blues guitarists.

Will I get a last meal before the stones start flying?
