sweet. In high school I was convinced I was going to be the next Tom Savini, and started collecting lots of movie quality severed arms, legs, heads, etc... but one of the coolest things i found in some odd little prop shop was a fake tongue. it came in a little "specimen" container and looked sooo freaking real. the only bad part about it was it was stretchy and sticky , like a child's toy..so if you touched it you knew it was fake, but to see it from a foot away it was freakishly real. sadly, last time i pulled all that stuff out to decorate for halloween the tongue was dried up and had to be thrown away.

Safety second. If that thing caused a bit of blood shed, that's very punk.
