Can anyone suggest any good guitar apps or any music apps for the iPhone? Like the ones to play guitar on your phone, pianos etc. Preferably FREE apps.

I use a few guitar apps. Some are pretty good, others not so much.

Tuner apps, I've tried a few and the best IMO is Cleartune (Stretch Tuned Guitar)

Reverse Chord Finder, useful for putting a name to that chord you've been playing but don't know what to call it.

Chordmaster, shows you how to play out-of-the-ordinary chords (and ordinary chords too) and gives you several optional fingerings up and down the neck.

OnSong, it runs on the iPhone but is better suited to the iPad. It's a lyric display that scrolls automatically as you progress through the song. You select the rate at which it scrolls. It can display chords as well.

Yamaha Metronome for aiding meter development.
