I actually love CL. I'm thinking of trading my old Crate head for a Peavey from the same era (1985-89)

To the right person, that's a good price. You're just not able to make use of an electric mandolin, but they're common with folk metal.

I love CL too. Had the chance to buy a mint Rickenbacker 360 and case for $1000. I went to see it and passed, realized I was making a mistake a couple hours later and it was gone (still kicking myself). Now the other day there was a Squier Affinity ("has some dings and scratches, but that's normal") with an off brand 6in amp. for $600.

I love CL as well and I've picked out some great bargains over the years (not to mention laughed at a lot of the weird stuff and idiots that show there! LOL!).

That said, for the sake of any newbies that may run across this thread, Craiglist isn't for the "guitar ignorant" and as many others have said in many other threads, you DO have to be careful so as not to get burned! As with Ebay, -KNOW- what you're looking at before you blow away your hard earned cash!

Just my $.02,
Jim

+1

Knowledge is power and ignorance is foolhardy.
