First off, typing in all caps is considered to be shouting and is rude.

My recommendation is to go out and try each one of the guitars you are interested in and choose the one you like best.

Go with Fender because I just can't see spending thousands on something that is glued together like Gibsons are.

Not sure...you can email them, and they have a online store.

Getting a guitar is a individual choice. What sound are you looking for? What is your budget? Do you plan to keep it forever or sell it when you get tired of it? There's a lot of variables here that you haven't mentioned. Try 'em out and see what fits you best, like CAFeathers said. Just don't let your eyes and ears get bigger than your bank account.

English please

As for your situation, my best advice would be to go to a local guitar store with a set budget. Have a price which you can afford and you feel you will get a suitable guitar with. Play as many guitars in the store in the price range you set. A few should stand out above others. Play those more and feel which one is best for the music you play. Don't go in with the mindset that one brand is better than another either.
