Can anyone help?! I am a brand new G-dec owner and am trying to work out how to use it, but everytime I try to save any changes to settings the save button goes red and when I try to save on to an SD card the screen comes up with "SD Card Locked".

I have just down loaded the latest Fuse software but have not had time to really explore all the functions yet and can't find anything in the help area which explains why this is happening.

Any advice would be very welcome!!

SD cards have a little slider on the side of the card. You can slide it up and down to lock/unlock the card! Check if it is slid to "lock" position. If so, slide it to "unlock".

This slider prevents from accidentally overwriting previously saved settings.

Assuming you have the card inserted the proper way and seated properly.

SD and SDHC cards have a little sliding 'switch' on the 'long' side of the card. This is to prevent accidentally erasing the data on the card, but it also prevents adding data to it. All you have to do is to slide this 'switch' to the opposite, or 'unlocked' position.

The other issue may be that the card hasn't been formatted, or formatted properly. This could explain the error msg. you're getting.

Finally, it's not beyond the realm of possibility that either the SD card, or the G-dec is faulty.

Try to use the SD card in your computer, add and retrieve data from it. If it works, then the G-Dec is suspect.
