Dan, nah the knobs don't get in the way. The Martinique actually has a third pickup under the bridge that's what the third set of tone and volume knobs do. It's a really unique sounding guitar. The guitar's 50 years old and I still play it!

Here's the Dano. I play this one too. It's a 57 U1.
