This is one of the guitars I own that I will probably never play out with - I just couldn't live up to the guitar... an Epiphone FlameKat.



I didn't buy it that long ago, but the first time I laid eyes on it, I knew I had to add it to my collection. I waited in the wings until the guy who owned it decided to let it go, then I swept in and bought it.



Awesome mid-sized (semi)hollowbody guitar, set neck, mini-humbuckers, Epiphone's version of a Bigsby... It originally had red dice where all the black knobs are now and happily, the dice knobs are in the case should I ever feel man enough to reinstall them.



I get it out now and then (beautiful original hardshell case) and let a select few look at it.

Since my hands have gotten bad I can't put my guitars in regular playing rotation like I used to so consequently a lot of my 30 babies haven't been played for some time. I could never bring myself to sell them because I'd be afraid that no matter who got them wouldn't be as obsessive and fastidious over them as I am and also I'm hoping that this condition will be cleared up eventually and I'll be able to get them all out and getting played regularly.
