Is there a Fender ukulele forum somewhere? Fender has some really nice ukes out right now and so does the Gretsch brand which is distributed by Fender. I'm really looking hard at the Gretsch Tenor electric ukulele right now, just wish it was all solid wood instead of laminate.

Would be interested in any feedback from Fender or Gretsch players on their various models of tenor and concert Ukuleles especially the electric ones. Specifically interested in tone and intonation information.

After nearly 5 decades of unpopularity, the Ukulele is making a huge comeback worldwide.

In 2010 an independent documentary film called: 'The Mighty Uke: The amazing comeback of a musical underdog' was released and details the 'rebirth' of the Ukulele. It is truly a very versatile instrument and definitely has my interest piqued.

Though I have waay too much on my plate right now just learning the guitar, I can envision owning one in the future.

Here's a short trailer of the movie:

cheers!

I am also interested in an electric concert Uke. I'll be watching.

Thank you. It is a soprano uke made in Taiwan. It is branded Lepore and the case is a Gator brand case. Very well made. Cost me $250 for uke and case. A little spendy but not your average cheap ukulele. I put Avila strings on it and it is suprisingly loud for being so small. :)
