I'm here about 20 miles West of Cleveland and this morning I think my balls cracked and fell off because it's so cold...I hate Ohio.

America did the "Go Metric" weak attempt back in the 80's me thinks...life would be soooo much easier if we'd stuck with it!! I like using military time too even though I was never in the service, my dad was in WWII and liked to wake us up with "oh-eight-hundred, rise and shine".

It's so cold in Chicago that we finally had to break out the winter clothing.

In Sydney we could have used some of that cold air last Friday.
It got to 45.8C (114.4F) in the city.
In the outskirts of Sydney, my car displayed 50C (122F) and it was officially 46.5C (115.7F).
Thank goodness for air conditioners.

The thermometer seems to be stuck in the minus double digits these days. It's going down to -10C tonight and with the forecast winds the windchill factor will no doubt send the temp below -20.My daughters in Labrador would consider -20 shirtsleeve weather, they are facing daily temps as low as -55 C with the windchill. That kind of chill would pop the nipples on a wooden Indian.

Meh, it was probably 15 this morning with snowfall all night and day. Had tons of fun. Made tons of snowballs and hit tons of pedestrians with them. I also ruined a pair of pants from sliding across a slick patio. Fun day. Only wore 1 layer, cept for the torso area, that was covered in leather and a shirt of some kind.

yes it's been cold, all day and feels like sub-zero at night. I've been staying inside though and don't have to go anywhere until next Doctor appointment, so I'm just an observer of this icy madness, lol.
