It's been mighty cold here in the Twin Cities. Colder than a Minnesota woman's heart.

Dadgummit it's so cold I saw a politician with his hands in his own pockets boys and girls. That's cold. Actually it's 8 degrees (F) but with the humidity feels like 9

It's so cold, they took the brass monkey off the clock in the Central Park zoo and put him inside for the night.

It's -5 C here tonight and with the wind chill it's probably closer to -12.It started to snow around 2:00 this afternoon and by 3:00 the roads were pretty treacherous. We have about 12" of snow down now at 11:15 PM and it's supposed to keep up until mid morning so we could easily double the amount of snow that we have down now. There is another snowfall forecast for the end of the week and the weather office is expecting it to be a beaut.I really need a trip down South somewhere but I really need money to do it too...lol.

Here in the Twin Cities, the witches are using heated bra's.
but a toasty 70 inside, I must have looked like the Michelin man for my walk to the store today.

I have to say, it's nice to have these super cold days,
as when it gets back to normal, it feels like spring time.
+1 on the snow vs cold, as long as the car still starts, you can drive.

Me too. 4 degrees Fahrenheit here at 10:30 PM, SE Michigan. Avoiding all of the lake effect snow.
