I decided to make some "artsy" pictures of me and my four electric Guitars on my iPhone. I saw a picture a while back of Tom Petty in a similar pose with his legendary Rickenbacker 330/12.






Needless to say my wife, who took the pictures, thinks that I'm sad but I don't care. I love my Guitars and would like to share them.

Tom is just one of the all-time best, isn't he? I sometimes find I haven't listened to him for a long time and then put him on again and - zamo! - a big happy smile spreads across the face.

If you're going to take musical (or photographic) inspiration from anywhere, well, Tom ain't a bad choice.

Tom's number in my books. It's ridiculous just how many great songs he's made in the last 35 years or so. I had the great privilege of seeing him live for the 1st time last year. It was almost a religious experience.

Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers probable have one of the most impressive collections of vintage Guitars and amps out their, just incredible.

Everyone needs a little Tom Petty in their lives.

Awesome pics. Hey can I ask you what "app" on iphone you used to do that? I'm new to iPhone and so far all I have is regular pics. I heard you can do all this stuff like make the pics look worn.
