And if you live in Northern VA, Alexandria Music is great, and Roger is always giving me deals.

There was a place way down lower Manhattan, a multi-level venue, wanting to say it was called "The Knitting Factory". I enjoyed that place thoroughly.
Good experimental music down in the basement.
Home-grown punk and flat-out rock on the other levels.

Parking and traffic actually not that bad.

Well, no need to worry about parking, considering I'll be walking everywhere.

I'm going to meet a famous hooker

Actually, it's just a trip. Nothing special, just going away for a bit.

Manny's is on 48th street (right across from where 48th Street Guitars used to be). Looks like Sam Ash is still on 48th....

Yes, Sam Ash is across the street from Mannys. I was there not long ago. Have a nice time

Bring you own or play mine, it's all good. I've got a Strat, an SG, a Schecter Ultra III, 2 amps, and a bunch of pedals. We can blast away. :D

Ahaha, alright. Just a note, I'm terrible.

I may not even bring one. if I find one that's right for me, I may just buy it.

No worries, I've been playing seriously for less than 3 years, so I'm far from being a virtuoso.

I guess the last 2 years or so was learning the ropes my own way, then I stepped it up.
