2 weeks ago i stripped the threads on my trem arm and called fender to get a replacement. i figured i might have to pay for it as it might fall under a "wear item" and it honestly could've been my fault it stripped, so i had my credit card near by. but since i only got it a cpl months ago, they replaced it for free. they answered the phone quickly, i got to speak to a real person, and the replacement was at my door in a little over a week. all in all it was a very positive experience, and it took very little of my time

No .... There really is no need, I itch easily and can't stand the odor of musk ....

OK PPB... Now you've really shot your credibility.

Edited the thread title from Con to Pro .... ..... Wrong ...
Reworded your original post so it is now politically correct ... No fans in your house I suspect ..
That's really backpedaling with your tail between your legs.

We've all posted on this Forum at one point or another and made complete arses of ourselves and have gotten flamed for it. Oh Well ... sometimes evolution slides back .
Now you live with your Gaffes and move on and rebuild your credibility.

You don't EDITand REPHRASE the postings since now, it is an incoherent thread and anyone new to this particular thread will just  :?: :?
Especially in light that your original comments were QUOTED thus they are in this thread and are part and parcel of the thread. It's done, there was no need to go back and edit, we've all come to an amicable point and moved on.
Backpedaling and editing is really annoying and just doesn't leave you with a good impression from other's desktop's view.....

In the future ... You may want to seriously reconsider and actually, this applies to all of us.
We think of a thread theme be it about a positive or negative experience, we choose to either print / post it or sleep on it for another day. However once posted, there it is, if it's embarassingly stupid, then that is food for thought for the next time ....

Now I've said my piece and time to move on.

Welcome to the Forum

Hope it's a light offshore and 6 to 8 peeling lefts and rights..... :D

Oh Yeah ... forgot...

The point break is a small day at Black Rock, the point further up is Mc Cabe's Point The 1st photo is East of McCabe's or actually just another trail to get to that rocky point break.
McCabe's inside isn't that good unless it tops 4' to 6' or from the face about 8' to 10' +.

This is Block Island, I'm not worried about naming it since it has been featured In Surfer mag, cover shot, we ( my family ) hosted Mez and Chrisner and a bunch of Aussie, Kiwi, U.S. over the years on various Hurricane and North East swells.

You think a person that chooses a handle of PingPongBob really cares about credibility?
Maybe I should just go back to lurking.

The OP is that banned "flame strat" guy. You guys can't see that? It took me 0.34 seconds to figure it out (after he posted pics of many strats and gibsons) and I read this forum only marginally and barely paid attention to that flame thing. That thing where he kept posting a pic of a bunch of strats in a circle formation with the flame one in the middle.

That is your plight, however post what you will then stand by it.....
That is what this Forum is about, not obfuscation ..

Toppscore I think was one of his names.

A brand new member already knows history and knows how to post pics and has a ton of awesome guitars.

I thought Toppscore was funny and should not have been banned, so I'm not complaining that he's back.

PingPongBob is neither Toppscore nor FirestormObsessive, who are themselves two different people. Everyone is clear on that. PingPongBob is just a guy who had a problem which is now in hand.

By the way, I notice that Rob Schwarz posted on this thread at 3.20 a.m. on Monday morning. That really is taking customer service to a higher level! Very cool. :D

Cheers, y'all - C

SIR YES SIR!!!

The edits were because rob Schwarz is working hard to expedite a repair/replace a defective Telecaster that some kook on the internet started on this thread.

I did it out of respect to Rob & Fender. I thought it was the right thing to do.

'Nuff said. Let's all move on and let this thread die.
