God forbid. However the front panel on this head was the easiest part to cover so I could change pants.

I like it, but how does the denim affect the sound?

I'm thinking of going back to tolex. Seems like the amp farts now. Could be because of my crappy playing.

Hi A-n-S: looks like you have that job sewn up. The ideal amp for the pocket player.

Do you play by the seat of your pants?

Cheers - C

Hey C

I used only carpet tape and staples to cobble this thing together and NOW I can finally play "They call me the breeze".

Mwaaahaha! :D

Seriously though. I'm not sure about putting denim across the front of the speaker, but aside from that it's a very tidy job. Upgrade that carpet tape to strong glue and you could have a nice little sideline business there. Plenty of folks out there might be tempted by the jeans-look on their cabinets.

It kicks butt! 8)

Looking good! I wouldn't cover the handle fixtures, personally. Otherwise: Nice!

There is no speaker -- it's a Dual Showman Reverb head.

Yeah... I covered em' because they were rusty but I'm not sure I like that either. I think I'll wire brush em' like I did with the straps and call it done.

No need for self-flagellation, Ceri! In the initial pic, the amp does sorta resemble a Twin Reverb due to the foreshortened camera angle.

Rawk on!

Haha - but it's sitting on top of its cab. That's kind of a clue, for those as are awake and have their brain engaged...

Dunno about self-flagellation but I'm off to ask Mrs C to spank me a bit. Not the first time.

Cheers - C

Hee-hee - OK. I'll just put the camera on its tripod with the timer set... and...

Oo. Uh. Ouch. Aaaah...
