Here's one of my original songs I wrote and recorded in 2005, it's called (In Your Eyes) It features some of my guitars, hope you all enjoy.

That wasn't bad at all, BYCL! Cool vintage rock feel.
I like those videos with changing guitars but I wish you had played the same song with all the guitars and cut it to match the sound of the video, that would have been even cooler.
(not necessarily with each individual guitar sound but at least in sync with the song, optically) 8)

Thanx for sharing!

The original clip I posted here to start this thread was shared on our Facebook page yesterday and, man, some of the feedback was brutal. This one in particular made me laugh out loud:

First half of vid = the reason I want to wear earplugs when I visit the electric guitar section of Guitar Center.

Ouch!!! LOL. :D

Has to be someone who dislikes crunch/distortion sound, because the playing was fine. Nothing like kids playing their latest 5 second lick with the distortion cranked, then slide down to drop D over and over.

Thanks! I have an extremely thick skin about such matters so didn't take any offense but yeah, I found that comment perplexing ... it's not even that dirty of a tone. Must be a pure-clean-hound, as you said.

No worries Brad, we love you and your guitar playing here at the Fender Lounge Forum. Keep up the good work and post another video when you have time. :D

Shame on me and apologies to Brad!! I thought it was a kind of commercial Fender video!

Didn't know it was you personally, Brad!
It's really good and the commenter (engl.??) on FB has no friggin' clue about playing guitar!

Thanks so much and yes, that is indeed me - got a rare chance to escape from being chained to my desk and play some guitar!! Actually I was chatting with our video guy earlier and think I may have a more regular opportunity to do so again in the future which I look forward to. First dibs at choice new gear! Plus it's kind of a fun challenge trying to sit there on the spot and come up with some meaningful riff that at least semi-capably demonstrates the instrument.

The commenters on utube are nasty little boogers. My favorite is "your guitar is out of tune." As if. I enjoy all these new videos on here. :D

Heh, I noticed that one as well. Debbie Downer apparently has a YouTube account! :-)

Nothing wrong with your video Brad. Tastefully played, professionally recorded and shot. Just as good as anything Andy ever posted at ProGuitarshop. Darn good for coming up with something off the cuff early in the morning. It demonstrated the capabilities of the instrument without the viewer being overwhelmed by the playing style. IE Greg Koch demoing for Wildwood. I love Greg's playing but he just makes me want to give up...

That is the guitar played straight through a Super-Sonic™ 22 Head ... no effects. If you have not checked a Super-Sonic 22 out, do so. I have two of them (in combo form) and feel they will ultimately come to be revered as one of the true classic amps of our times.
