Vicious sounding mid boost there! Seems like you can really make that thing scream with a bit of gain on the amp, what rig are you playing through?

I used a Vox Night Train (15W, tube) via 1x12" Vox Vintage boutique cabinet (50th anniversary) and a high gain setting on my Boss GT-10 effects processor board.
I sold all the stuff (except the 1x12" cab). The other videos were the same setup except for the two videos "Butterfly Dance" where I used an old Spider I modeling amp (40Watts, stereo) and "Eagle in the Sky" (see below!).

Now I use a Hughes & Kettner Statesman head and a 4x12" H&K Statesman cab, modified with Celestion G12H30 Anniversary speakers (as in the "Eagle in the Sky" video, the first one I posted).
I also use a H&K Tubemeister18 via either the Vox cab or an old Framus 2x12" cab with Celestion Vintage 30s.

A couple of pedals round up the setup.

Don't have any guitar related videos atm. I would if my drummer would send me the vid of our last jam session (which was actually very high quality)

anyways, here's a low quality version of a metal drumming technique called a gravity roll.

Smoking frets, that's a great song, what's the name?
Too bad the Hughes and kettner statesman is discontinued..

Which one do you mean? The first one (white strat, clean tone, christmas tree)?

It's my song called "Eagle in the sky" because when I suddenly came up with that idea while just noodling around, I suddenly visualized an eagle gliding calm over a big canyon, so the titel was decided ;).

BTW, you still get the Statesman head and combos online! Especially the heads are thrown out for little money.
They started out at 1200 bucks, if I remember right and now you get them for 555 bucks, I even saw one a while ago for only 380 bucks!
Great amps but sellers clear out their storages.

The cabs are not available anymore but any 4x12 with good quality casing and Celestions will do just fine.

Just improvising, what happened to cross my mind.
I had no certain song in mind.
Thank you for taking your time to watch and for commenting. I'm happy that you like it! :)

Been enjoying all of you guys' stuff.

Smokin (Howlin) Frets, I know exactly what you mean concerning lessons and a time machine. I wish I could have taken some lessons at some point. Just been learning blind for the past 6 years.....slowly learning.

Hope as time goes by, I'll collect as many great guitars. Have yet to own a USA Fender. Had a Mexican once. Just didn't do it for me. Bought a MIJ Squier mid 80's and I guess folks may get mad, but it is one of the sweetest guitars I have ever played. Fuji Gen knew what they were doing. It has MIJ Fender parts all over it, if it helps. I guess if I ever come up with a video camera, I'll point it at my Pro Jr. I'm not going to lie and say I won't be using one of my non-Fenders. Though that MIJ sure feels like a well made Fender to me.

Flame on guys!

They've become "legendary" and are very sought after, getting incredibly high prices if one shows up.
Always wanted to check one out but never got a hold of one in a reasonable distance from my home.

I'm not sure whether it is just a "hype thing" but with all the praise they get online, I sure would like to play one if I get the chance.

So please forgive me if I wait with my flaming until after I have checked one, Jack!
