If nothing else this one should be good for a laugh....my first attempt at doing a video. Sorry not sync, but I'm really a beginner at this. My 88-89 American Standard Strat, no mods....

Hey man, you use to have a YT of a Strat w/ vintage noiseless? I remember
About 5-6 yrs ago seeing that video and thinking, bluesy and countryish.
That was one of the videos that inspired me to learn or rather attempt
to learn scales and develop my leads. I'm not there yet.
Anyway sorry for the ramble, just giving you props, you know.

You mean this?

I've still got that strat (and half a dozen others), that's the guitar I'm playing in the slide guitar video in this thread. Glad you liked the video, that guitar sounds a lot nicer since I swapped out the bridge for a Wilkinson unit. I've also dumped the transistor power amp for a Marshall 9100 so the tone's far less clangy and icepicky now.

Not exactly that tune but the changes are similar. It's a solo from a song I wrote called "Endangered Species Pie". Thankfully no recordings exist of this song in the public domain ;)

What a great song, has more of two step feel to it, a little chicken pickin
comes out in your playin. I found it when I was searching for vintage noiseless
pickups several yes back.

Thanks blue', I appreciate the kind words. 8) I love my Lucille, the only things I've changed were the nut and saddles, I installed GraphTech parts. Oh and I used a hairdryer to remove the cheap foil 'E' on the pickguard.

Wow!!!! Especially the part where you played the Strat and the part where you played the acoustic.
