Half ours, half provided. The rear Marshall stacks are fake decoration. Everyman for himself. The keyboardist and myself each make it in and out on one trip with a two wheel dolly. Carrying weight is a major consideration when ever I decide what gear to use or buy. The Tele only weighs 6.5#, so it gets a lot of consideration. It's in for a fret dress because I wore them down in two years. I use a multi effect pedal rather than lug the big pedal board I put together. Old worn out backs suck!

I come from a time when one could fit the gear for a four piece rock band in one automobile....a big 'ol '51 Hudson we called "The Giant Behemoth. Of course, drum kits, amps, and PA gear were prehistoric compared to today's stuff, like a Model T Ford to a Corvette. No monitors, and nothing was miked. Things have changed.... 8)

Cool... good to share some Fender Guitar Twang-Bangin' :)

This one's a little rough... 1st time we played this... Just let them know we're in "Amaj" and counted it in... but it has good energy

This morning I feel like a new guy! This is from a Halloween show, that's why I'm dressed funny. It's the Pearl Jam song Jeremy.

This is what happens when an old punk rocker writes a blues rock song. I used to be in an Americana/rootsrock band called "Hoyt and the HotHeads," and I wrote this song for that band, but we never got round to putting it in the set.

So I figured wtf, we'll recycle it and do it with my main band, Crash Pad. This is one of our first shows after my surgery, chemo, and radiation for throat cancer, so I hadn't quite found my "new voice" yet, but it is what it is. Audio from the board so vox are a bit too upfront.

You've been warned, press play at your own risk! ;)

Drew365... nice balance between the two guitars  easy to go too far with a couple of stacks... that go to 11... the guitars compliment each other nicely...

Mr. Krashpad... awesome job on those vocals, Bro. Liked those "Old-School" licks you were doing... You must dig Chuck... I know I do!
Rock On

Thanks SS! Yes, I'm a big fan of Chuck Berry. And Johnny Thunders, Brian James, and Steve Jones. ;)

Here's the album version of the same song, recorded 4 or 5 months later:

Brian, good stuff. Did you play in a punk band as well?

Yes, thanks. The video is the punk rock band (although the other guys don't make any effort to "dress punk" for the most part), Crash Pad, doing the song that I wrote intending it for the prior side band.

You can download our 2012 full-length punk rock album for free here:
http://www.crashpadband.com/music.html

Here is a video of another of our songs, from a club performance supporting the Pinkerton Thugs. Audio is a little blown out since it is from the camera mic rather than from the board. Sorry about the cheesy TV advert at the start and end.

Got it. Sorry for the confusion. Digging the tunes!
