Here's a sample video of me sort of goofing around on my '95 Fender Strat and explaining the versatility of the guitar. I just sort of "winged it" when I made the video, as there's goofs, and me getting tongue tied and not reading from a script like an actor. What you see, is what you get.

Gear used: 1995 Fender Strat straight into a 2011 Fender Frontman 65r solid state. No pedals, no nothing. Just a hint of reverb from the amp and the footswitch for channel switching.

Example cover tunes that I quickly play a bit of:
Annie's Song (John Denver) 1:48 - 2:33
Honey Don't (Carl Perkins) 2:58 - 4:09
Lookin' Out For #1 (Bachman-Turner Overdrive) 5:10 - 5:54
Back In Black (AC/DC) 7:07 - 7:50
Stranglehold (Ted Nugent) 8:13 - 9:04
Iron Man (Black Sabbath) 9:26 - 11:10
Sample blues jam 11:50 - 13:05
(Sort of a version/sample/influence of both "Have You Ever Loved A Woman" (Derek & The Dominoes, off the Layla album) and "Red House" (Jimi Hendrix). For some stupid reason, the video cut off right at 13:05 right before I was going to end the blues jam.

Here's a hint for ya: Less blathering, more continuous playing and shorter video time. Thank you!

Well, in my clip, the vocals are pretty rough, but we were having fun, and that's why I do it. I'm in the center playing my LP. The rythm guitarist is playing my Tele JA90.

Do you have trouble keeping your LP in-tune? For some reason (even with bone nut and a proper set-up) I could never keep the G strings on my Gibson in-tune.

I know some guys have trouble keeping their LP in tune. I got lucky with mine, it holds it's tune nearly as well as my Strat with the LSR nut, which basically never goes out of tune. I have a Faber ABR1 bridge. I don't know if that helps. My teacher who has an 80's LP, tunes about 3 or 4 times in an hour, I tune once.

Here's an ancient video of the band I left behind when I joined the Army right after high school. This was their next show after they replaced me and they filmed this to send me a VHS tape when I was stationed in Germany.

Ah, the state of thrash metal in the SF bay area in the early 90's. I still remember writing and playing most of these songs before I bailed.

No disrespect intended but IMHO, this genre could be interpreted as representative of the universe shortly after the 'big bang'...i.e.'dazed and confused' which, by the way, is not a bad idea for a song.

This is a rehearsal of a Rush tribute band I'm playing. This is a once a year gig!
I'm the one playing bass (2008 Fender Jazz Bass 24 V).
The songs: "Closer to the Heart" and from the new Clockwork Angels album "Caravan"!

And this is from the actual gig recorded with an iPhone
(quality is not like the other video) and the song "YYZ"!
Sorry I missed the harmonics from the last bass solo!!

I played a birthday gig in Woodstock, NY on Friday, 8/16. Did a bunch of Zep covers and some Hendrix. SO far on YT vid is up with us covering Whole Lotta Love. Recorded on the guitarists side, the bass is almost inaudible unless equalized to boost it. Anyway, here it is.

Since the singer posted another one, I'll include it here. A cover of Ramble On by Zep.
