Nothing wrong with your video Brad. Tastefully played, professionally recorded and shot. Just as good as anything Andy ever posted at ProGuitarshop. Darn good for coming up with something off the cuff early in the morning. It demonstrated the capabilities of the instrument without the viewer being overwhelmed by the playing style. IE Greg Koch demoing for Wildwood. I love Greg's playing but he just makes me want to give up... :lol:

Thank you and wow, that means a lot as I've enjoyed some of Andy's demos through the years.

@KidBlast,

That's some baby-making music right there! And at 4 min 30 sec. long, just about perfect.
Just kidding, about the time thing. Good Job!!

This is an excellent thread, thank you Brad! Everybody who's posted up, excellent job. It's interesting to see the player behind the posts!

However, I don't have a video cam. So, I haven't posted a video yet.

Next month, I have a budget of $100.00 for a video cam. What's a good $100.00 video cam, what video cam do you think has the best sound quality first and best picture quality next or is there a happy medium for $100.00? Also, if there's a less expensive cam that won't frustrate the process as I'm verrrrry picky about quality, I'd like to consider those options as well.

I could go into my emergency stash and get one now but...we'll see! If something good's on sale now, I'll consider getting it if it's too good a deal to pass-up!

Well, I used a Nikon Coolpix S8200 (200 bucks in Germany) for the Eagle in the Sky video.
Very good picture quality, but I recorded extra, not with the internal mike.

Digi cams can quickly get distorted, when recording (depending on volume).

You should use extra recording gear, if you have.

I miked my amp but volume was low, so you still hear the "click" of my footpedals which were picked up by the Sure microphone in front of the amp. :lol:
(very little distance from the pedal board)

On the other hand, I did this short blues slide video with the cam of my wife's iPad. Sound is okay but it REALLY depends on what you want to play in those videos.

Logitech is probably where you can look, the HD cams can be had for under 100.

Thank you, kidblast. I'm still in the beginner phase of slide guitar :oops:
I need much more practice. Now, if I could just decide which open tuning to use, ha ha ha.
