Just trying a little experiment here ... went ahead and enabled a new "youtube" BBCode here. Let's give it a try and see if it works, and we'll also see if folks use it wisely. Got any clips of you playing? Post 'em here! Got any clips of your guitars? Post 'em here! You get the idea. :-)

I'll start. Right in the middle of our recent Fender.com relaunch effort I managed to peel away for a bit one Monday morning a few weeks back to record this clip of the new 2013 Fender Select Carved Blackwood Top Telecaster® SH - we just launched the new series additions yesterday and they're getting great feedback so far! Playing is a tad ham-fisted here ... but hey, passable for 8:30 a.m. on a Monday, with a major project deadline looming:

Well, in my clip, the vocals are pretty rough, but we were having fun, and that's why I do it. I'm in the center playing my LP. The rythm guitarist is playing my Tele JA90.

Sorry, I think while you were editing it, I was trying to edit it. I'll leave it alone, if you can fix it. Thanks.

That Tele is just incredible Brad, both sonically and esthetically,I'd pick one of these over the top shelf Les Paul any day. With the wide tone spectrum and the beautifully grained wood on both the body and neck it truly presents itself as a genuine threat to the LP as the King of the Humbucker equipped guitars.I don't suppose that Fender would be running a contest this year with one of these beauties as the top prize????

BTW: Your playing was great too, very catchy riff, you should be doing more demos. This is a great addition to the forum, kudos to whoever came up with this concept.

Brad, great video. Very catchy riff indeed. That telecaster is stellar.

Yes, in person these are jawdropping to behold both visually and sonically!

Thanks so much. There are some truly monster players in this building so it was a rare treat to get to do this one. Do hope it leads to additional chances in the future!

Our drummer Frankie's Birthday Bash, everyone in the Chicagoland area is invited :D

cool jam K! Drew center stage, Bravo!

ps. Brad, are you playing through a super sonic in that vid?

I'm still not a fan of this video, but it's the best one I have featuring the forum project guitar. Which sounds much better normally... Anyway, enough excuses.

One of my favourite strats ... 1983 two-knob version with the best stock pickups I've ever heard on a Fender guitar
