We've been pretty lucky weather-wise so far this winter with just one snowfall that was bad enough to mess up driving.Tomorrow that will all change as they are expecting up to 70cm.-almost 30"-of snow dumped on us.With the temps so low lately if we get a North East wind with it ,a snow drift up to 12' high will build up at the end of our lane and even our 4X4 truck is no match for that.Since I won't even be able to to get out and pick up the mail, I guess I'll be stuck in the house with my old Gretsch Tennessean and my Vox AC-15 and have to play old Beatle songs for as long as the old paws hold out-life is rough.

But, since you're talking about snow, all you can do is be prepare and wait it out. I used to deal with snow, now I complain when it's in the 50's.

The storm didn't get to its full blizzard status until about 3 PM,it's now 4:10 and like all big dumps,this one is going to be a real stinker.White out conditions on all the roads,as long as the power doesn't go,even though we have a propane stove and heater,I don't have a propane amp-still I have batteries for my Vox Mini-3 and my stomp boxes so all is not lost,of course I could use one of my acoustics instead and save the batteries for the fashlights.

shitloads or snowloads - a good book is a good answer to both. I am reading the memoirs of Neil Young , and I find it very interesting and entertaining. Hereby recommended .
