Rick Neilson of Cheap Trick always goes on tour accompanied by a large assortment of very valuable vintage instruments,including an original 1959 Les Paul Standard fretless wonder with PAFs-of course-all of his guitars are in custom heavily padded cases when travelling.I believe that they travel by private jet too-which makes a huge difference.
