Facing forwards! :)

All of them, whatever suits what I'm playing.

All of them. Song, guitar, amp or mood makes any of them a possible choice. I will say, with my Bugera V5 played on very low gain, I will use my bridge pups because the treble and gain are tied into each other. Once the gain goes up a bit, it's back to any pup that fits the tone.

Whatever the song requires at the time! I'll go as far as bouncing between pickups for individual notes in solos if that's what is needed to make them sit nicely in the mix and say what they need to say.

Except the middle position on a Strat. I can count on one finger of one hand the amount of times I've used that for a session, and that was purely because I turned up with a hot HSS Strat after being told we were doing a rock number, only to find their definition of 'rock' was 'vintage surf', and it was the only position on that particular guitar which came close enough.

Whichever position/sound the song (and band/performance/room/mix) calls for...I use all of them.

I'm assuming the question here is referring to a Strat?... For rhythm I like the neck. Leads (for as little as I do of them) I prefer one click up from the bridge... but in some rooms it doesn't cut like the bridge, so I'll go there.
My favorite is "one click up".
Telecaster... love 'em all! It's like having 3 guitars.

I lean toward the neck when I am playing mellow blues and toward the bridge when I am playing classic rock, but I generally use all positions in the course of a long jam.

Since I'm a rhythm guy, middle+bridge, neck+middle.

Great for funky quack, IMO.

I use them all including bridge/middle and bridge/neck combinations. The only combination I do not use is middle/neck.

Just think of switch positions as mood settings. Every time you move a switch, turn a tone or volume knob, your creating a different mood. The Stratocaster allows for an endless variety of these tonal moods. So just pick a mood and dial it in.
