I just got back from BC where I picked up two pounds of Oso Negro Valhalla Blend and a pound of Salt Spring Island French Roast. Both are very, very dark and are also organic and fair trade. I make my coffee in an espresso maker. Six or seven shots to a cup. My regular coffee maker only gets used when I have company over cuz not everyone shares my love of very very strong coffee.

Just think of how awesome a guitar player you could have been by now if you had only spent the last 10 years practicing instead of obsessing over pickups and roasted maple necks.

I find light and medium roasts the best to my liking,I find French and Espresso roasts have an almost burnt and acidic taste.I was just browsing through their ebay store and found out that they also sell Kona Hawaiian coffee-my favourite-too foir the same price or 2 lbs of each for the same price too.A 10 lb bag costs about $130-tempting.

Modwiz, this might not fit with coffee snobbery, but I have found that microwaving coffee takes away the bitterness, at least to my uneducated pallet it does. :)

I am a no microwave kinda guy. No nukes, ya know? :D

I'm a coffee snob, not a coffee clown. I do not have too much money and have plenty of things to talk about. I'm also weird enough to not need to accessorize.
