Which is quieter: A tree falling in the forest with no one around to hear it or a mosquito with sneakers biting an elephant's balls?

Which is harder: Agreeing on a Lounge Guitar or trying to pick fly crap off the head of a pin with boxing gloves?

Since this Martian thread is based on truly confounding issues...

Is it possible that the movie Groundhog Day (which was just on VH1 again) is actually based on a true story? Movies are made all the time that say they were based on a true story, so why not Groundhog Day?
