JB is a monster player and seems like a genuinely nice and humble guy to me. I've seen him live twice, had the pleasure of a meet and greet. At one of the shows in Wilkes Barre he told some very funny stories about touring in the family mini-van as a kid. He also comes across as a nice guy in interviews. I definitely see how his low-key demeanor could be seen as a lack of personality by others.

JB is an awesome guitar player. So is Clapton. I agree with that EC has nothing
to prove at this point. Both do what they do best every time they go up
on stage.

I saw Joe Bonamassa at the Fox Theatre in St. Louis in November. Absolutely incredible show! He played Mountain Time and absolutely blew me away. He is a wonderful performer, interacted with the crowd quite a bit. I've got to share a joke he made during the concert:

He stopped playing and began talking to the crowd, you know, and said, "earlier I was walkin' around, i like to check out the area around a venue a bit before I play a show, and a guy walks up to me and says 'hey I know you, you're Joe Bonamassa! I saw you when you played your very first show here at Blueberry Hill' and I said wow, that's just awesome, there weren't very many people there!' And we talked for a bit before we parted ways and a little while later another guy comes up to me and said he saw me at blueberry hill, I said wow man that's cool that was a long time ago. This kept happening all day long..." then Joe paused for a second and said, "ladies and gentlemen, there were six f@&$in' people at the blueberry hill, so when the twenty-fifth person comes up and tells me they were there... no you were not."

That show was one of the best I've ever been to, not to mention the Fox is an credible venue.

Sorry if it offends anyone, I don't like him. He has no soul, no feeling and is too mechanical like Satriani.
