Good Morning My Fender Friends,

Cold one this morning here in Blaine but I have a cup of coffee next to me and Joe Bonamassa is tearing up a solo on the stereo....

Four day weekend ahead and started last night jamming with a mate of mine. I had sold him one of my guitars and he bought a new Deville 4 x 10 to play through.....we had a great time and rattled the windows to be sure. Its off to rehearsal this monring and then home for chores (a nap might be in order) and finally going out for a nice steak this evening.

I hope everyone on the Forum is well, looking forward to hearing from you. Have a great day and keep a bucket of water close by to cool off those smokin' fretboards.... 8)

Beaubs

Mornin' Beaubs and Fellow Forumites, who threw the COLD switch? Riding With The King cd is playing in the background and I'm hunkering in flannel and getting another cup of coffee, welcome winter.
Cheers,
John.E

Beaubs and all the other forumites...Good Morning....BRRRR it is cold out here at Gateway too! Might be a good time to get up and get the blood flowing with a walk with the pups...then some nice warm cinimmon rolls straight out the oven! Then maybe some quality time with the Strat!

Mornin' all, and good to hear from you Beaubs. Got some housekeeping chores to do while Mrs. b is out running errands. Nice and toasty here with the coal stove fired up, and a cup of coffee. After my chores I need to change strings on my Martin, (broke a D string last night), then change strings on my LP, and get in some practice time for tomorrow.

My son and his wife are going out tonight so we are keeping our granddaughter over night, can't wait! She's 16 months old and loves her pink Strat 8) . Busy times, but good times, have a good weekend all.

+1

A wee bit chilly down here in the high desert of southwest flyover country as well -- the parade-field thermometer showed 28º at morning muster. Cinnamon rolls sound great. Gotta love that Pillsbury Doughboy!

Good morning Beaubs! Good to see your post. In the 20s here in Chi-town. Staying in and staying warm, lol. Merry Christmas to you and everyone!

Hiya Beaubs and everyone!

It's been raining like the Biblical flood where I am and I've been up the ladder clearing wind-driven leaves from overflowing gutters a couple of times already - when that needs doing at three in the morning I've given up getting what I'm wearing soaked and nowadays do it naked. Ceri doing nude gutter clearing: now there's a mental image to spoil your weekend coffee!

We've shortly got friends coming round for a big pre-Christmas Sunday lunch - so I'd better go and get on with it...

Cheer of the season, y'all - C

Hi Beaubs,if you think that it's cold where you are in Blaine, you should come to Newfoundland and check out our cold weather. The air around here is not only cold but very damp,so it cuts right through the heaviest of clothing. It gets so cold here that you even have to use 2 pairs of boot laces.

Have a fabulous Christmas and a very happy and prosperous New Year.
