Here are a couple of Christmas songs I recorded using my Strat & Mustang III amp:
What Child Is This? - Strat on rhythm, Les Paul with EBow on "flute" track.
Silent Night - Strat with Vibratone effect.

chromeface, oh well, replaced it with a Gary Hoey clip. Thanks for the heads up.

Miami Mike, that was great, reminds me of some of the stuff I've done playing around with recording. :D

This is one of my all-time Christmas favorites along with some of my
favorite musicians backing her:

This is the video I made for, "What Child Is This?" It features my 2011 American Deluxe Stratocaster on rhythm and my 2000 Gibson Gary Moore signature Les Paul with an EBow on lead. Both guitars were recorded through a Mustang III amp using the USB interface:

This is a rendition I recorded of, "Silent Night" a couple of years ago. It features my 2011 American Deluxe Stratocaster recorded through a Fender Mustang III amp with a Vibratone effect:

This song can also be downloaded here:

And finally, here is an original Christmas tune I wrote and recorded last year. It features a Martin DC Aura acoustic guitar and a 2000 Gibson Gary Moore signature Les Paul with EBow, recorded through a Fender Mustang III amp via USB:

There is an alternate mix of this song available for streaming here:
http://www.reverbnation.com/josephrellis/song/19408990-winter-stargazing-alternate-mix
This version has the EBow "flute" part all the way through the song, rather than alternating with the acoustic lead. It can be downloaded for $1.29 with 50% going to the charity Fender Music Foundation.

I guess I have more traditional tastes in Christmas music.
I occasionally listen Christmas rock but mostly I like the less aggressive stuff.
My sister turned me onto the jazzy Linus piano music from Charlie Brown a couple of years ago.
It's become one of my favourites.
I also like Bing Crosby, Nana Mouskouri.
I guess I get that from my mother. (RIP)

Just think of how awesome a guitar player you could have been by now if you had only spent the last 10 years practicing instead of obsessing over pickups and roasted maple necks.
