Too Cool! There's a lot to learn. It's like getting 100 effects pedals in one day and 12 new bass amps and 12 new speaker cabinets! Whew! It does sound good. VERY quiet unlike stomp boxes which are very noisey. Most importantly it doesn't cut the bottom out or muddy your bass signal. For the same price as a single high end bass effect from Tech 21 or EBS, I have a very well designed and executed multi-effects box. Recording software included. USB direct into your computer. Looper and 40 drum patterns too. What's not to like?

The Zoom's are pretty cool. I use the G1X and I love all the amp simulator pre-sets. They take some time to dial in but they're great for their consistent OD tones regardless of overall amp volume.

Rawk on!

After reading your post I went and checked it out. One of th promotional videos was bu Victor Wooten. Not only does he use it and like it, he is one of the bass players who wrote some of the voices on it. Looks like Santa won't be able to do this for me. Probably have to be the Easter bunny. I think Santa will just have to get me a Weber signature alnico 10" speaker for my SCX2.

Enjoy the pedal, it looks like a real tool for tone. And fun.

After I get a handle on this groovy box, I may post a review of sorts on the Bass Amp forum. It might not be quite legal but there isn't any 'Bassman's Lounge' to discusss things like bass effects; strings, and pick-ups in one place. It's unfortunate that not many Fender Bassmen & Women wander down there because they don't play through a Fender Bass Amp, or just don't care unless they have a question and then they're gone.
