i'm not new here but HELLO anyway. it seems that after the lounge maintenance my old user name and password didn't work anything. i did all the contacting stuff but to no avail. anywho.....i was blackstrat71, but no more. who cares.......

Welcome back blackstrat71 or shinkicker I guess Brad might be able to help with your username, if you wanted to change to your old one. Let us know what happens.

thanks guys. shinkicker is from Rory Gallagher. i did contact brad, but my original username may be gone. who knows? blackstrat71 was getting old anyway besides "shinkicker" honors Rory and i'm always running up and down the highway to work(you'll understand if you know the song). what could be better? cheers!

My username ceased to exist as well, but I sent an email to Brad and after several emals back and forth, Brad sent me this link:

http://www.fender.com/community/forgot.php

I had tried the Log In to no avail - it wouldn't recognize me or my password and when I tried the link Brad sent, my username was still found to NOT EXIST. However, I put in my email address and lo and behold, there I was again - back from the ether!

I don't think the link will find you using your Username, but it might very well let you back in with you correct Email Address.

Give it a shot and see.

My issue was the opposite... I had always only been able to login with my e-mail address in the past, now I have to use my forum username and it is CaSe SeNsAtIvE!

i know how you guys feel but i'm ok with the change eventhough i lost all my posting credit, it really didn't mean that much to me. just being able to carry on guitar related conversations is all i care about.
