After years of searching I finally tracked down a pot suitable for my '67 Vox Clyde McCoy Signature wah wah pedal (the same model the Jimi Hendrix and SRV used)I was going through the Vox website and looked up the specs of the Handwired V846 Vox wah I got for Christmas from the Missus.Since the new pedal sounds incredibly like the Clyde,I figured that the pot would do the trick.I emailed Korg Canada-the agents for Vox and Marshall here- and got the part # and then contacted my friends at Reid Music and they promptly ordered one in for me.Soon my old Clyde will be sounding like it did 45 years ago-I can't wait for it to get here.

It seems like a very reasonable and suitable replacement part to find for the vintage Vox wah.

Enjoy the old Clyde when she's up and running, and do update on how the V846 compares!

The new V846 HW handwired wah is the closest thing to the Clyde McCoy that I've heard yet, although the Geoff Teese RMC picture wah is pretty darn close too.The V846HW pot in the Clyde should bring it back to its original glory-I'll know for sure when I try it through my Marshall stack with my old '65 Strat doing the intro to Voodoo Child(slight return), I'll know then if it's the proper replacement.
