This has been a rotten week,along with the pain in my back and hands being exceptionally bad,the transmission went in the truck-burnt right out.Anyway I just got some good news. A couple of days ago I entered a contest on Facebook that Vintage Guitar Magazine has put off.They asked for people to send in pix of themselves with their favourite guitars. I sent in the pic of my alter-ego Bungalow Bill that I posted here a few days ago.Today I got the most votes and consequently won 10 packs of D'Addario strings-my brand for over 30 years,a string winder/cutter,a headstock mount tuner,a guitar rest and a 15 ft. Instrument cable.After 12 days they make a drawing from all the winners for $500 worth of guitar gear.That's not a bad end to a rotten week-now if only I could win Loto-Max tonight....lol. BTW if anyone would like to vote for me I'd appreciate it very much-you can't miss my pic with my glasses with the fake eyes and the pith helmet.Thanks to anyone who votes for my pic.

What time is it? It's Fender Time.

I'm sorry but I'd give you a link if I knew how to do it but I'm a complete Luddite-especially when it comes to computers.It's a miracle that I can use an electric guitar and amp with a few stomp boxes...lol.I still haven't figured out my Vox AD-120-VTH modelling amp with it's 128 progammable presets and 60 page owners manual, or my daughter's multi-effects Zoom pedal.
