Sonic Youth guitarist Thurston Moore had his Jazzmaster stolen from a hotel in Philadelphia last night. Serial number 41927.

Keep an eye out...

Gee... does it have any distinguishing characteristics that might make it easier to spot?

Sometimes just the serial number isn't enough...

Helluva lot more distinctive than Carlos Santana's #1 was. It made its way all the way across country to Brooklyn NY where the fool tried to sell it. Royal Music on Rockaway Parkway was on the ball with that one and stalled the seller until the police arrived. Will be interesting to see how far this one gets.
