So I had tickets to see Jason Mraz at Madison Square Garden for Tues 12/11 ... but Hurricane Sandy came along and caused major damage on the east coast. So concert organizers put together a concert on 12/12/2012 for Sandy relief.

This meant Jason Mraz had to change his concert date to allow for a rehearsal for the 12/12 show. Mr. A-Z very graciously changed his concert date to Monday 12/10 to allow the show to go forward.

To put this in perspective, it is the first time ever he has done a concert at MSG, it's a really big deal and they were planning on taping video. So needless to say, it must have taken a lot of last-minute rescheduling to get it all to go off well. And not to mention he could potentially lose ticket sales, as they offered a refund for those who could not reschedule. This was a very classy move on his part.

The concert Monday was so great, the opening act was "Fitz and the Tantrums", who I admittedly never heard of. But I liked them a lot, kind of a Billy Joel/RNB vibe. Good stuff, check them out!

Jason's set was amazing. And a very very special treat, when he did 'Lucky', who came out on stage to sing it with him? None other than Colbie Caillat (who sang on the original album track)!
