12-12-12 is meant to be easier to remember, so you don't forget anniversaries. If you believe the press, for this reason the world and his brother are getting married today (although not to each other, at least not in the Church of England, or several US states)

Me, I think getting married on a 'memorable' date is a bad idea - it can only lead to additional ear bending when you do forget the anniversary date (and it will happen!)

 Most Excellent! :)

The 121212 logo with the upsidedown Fender Stratocaster headstocks is very cool/creative/artistic.

My wife and I stood before the Magistrate at the Palais de Justice in Montreal and exchanged our vows on 9/11/99...

Little did we know that our 2-year anniversary would memorialize that date forever !

cheers!

I caught some of The stones, Clapton, The Who and Roger Waters on the 12-12-12 Sandy relief show from Madison Sq Garden last night and they rocked...add in McCartney who came on later and it could have been billed as the old English rockers reunion tour! :D

I enjoyed that quip by Jagger. Clapton did well as a trio. I am still curious to learn if tickets to that event were open to the public or whether it was an 'industry insider's' gig [I had just learned of it while watching TV the other day] in that I noted a lot of familiar faces in the audience.

Anyone know???

Not sure but it's airing again right now and will air again tonight on AXS.TV

I'm watching the auctions - curious about those autographed guitar straps!

The estimated values are obviously someone's wishful thinking. Bidders will likely go into 11th hour 59 minutes and 30 seconds mode to see how much of a steal they can take home the object of their affection for. The finals will be interesting. IMHO, any serious collector with bucks who really wanted to get ahead of the field would enter a respectable raise in bid. Some of these may likely end up on Crag's List or eBay for a profit.
