Fender American Standard Stratocaster, Olympic White, with GDEC Jr amp.
Am considering eventual purchase of Variax.

(By the way, has anyone ever told Fender that American Standard is a leading brand name of toilets?)

I'm a recent Fender convert.

In order of purchase,
'58 reissue Les Paul, about 20 yrs old, weakest pickups i've ever heard.

Epiphone SG custom flametop w/LP neck, lil bugger SCREAMS

Washburn D10 acoustic, tuned openD for Lightnin Hopkins tunes.

'67 reissue Flying V, INSANELY hot factory pickups

Mex/Tele with Kent Armstrong bridge p/u and self installed Bigsby kit.
this tele looks just like my icon, except with white pearloid pickguard.
This guitar is my FAVORITE electric, versatile does not begin to describe.

Newly released Fender Malibu acou/elec, EXCELLENT for blues, tuned openD.

I still have my first guitar - a 1973 Léro Model 58 Dreadnought (Korean) and the 2 Squiers in my signature.

I have my eyes and ears on one or more Telecasters - I need to make up my mind, but my dilemma will be solved one of these days. Till then, I'm happy with my current small collection.

My daughter will be adding to collection, she's become interested in picking up and learning the bass - we have already made one trip to a big shop, so she could see and handle a few different models - but she hasn't yet made up her mind.

Gil, a re-beginner on the guitar 8)
