I love Fender and all, but these LTD's look very tempting!

That company is located about two miles from my office. I looked through their website. Maybe you like the looks of them, but the specs aren't very exciting. They don't even mention the fretboard radius on any of their model descriptions.

Maybe she looks good, but does she know how to rock and roll?
Besides, your main squeeze is only into you for your money. It's not about you. She does give great value though. Go ahead and cheat. It may be just yourself that gets cheated.

Those guitars look surgically enhanced to me.

I looked at one of these recently.
If you remove the neck and look in the neck pocket you will find the words:
"Ekthra Thpethial Thpankin' Wankin' Edithion"
branded (burned) into the body wood.

Just think of how awesome a guitar player you could have been by now if you had only spent the last 10 years practicing instead of obsessing over pickups and roasted maple necks.

There are a lot of very nice (ESP) LTD guitars out there. I own two of the older ones and they are superbly made instruments with great touches. I like the looks of those above, too, but I'm trying to cut back...

Image

ESP LTD PB401 with Seymour-Duncan P-Rails - "Ground breaking, patent pending design that allows a full-size humbucker to split to either a “real deal” P-90 or a traditional single coil."

ESP LTD Hybrid 400 - a fantastic sounding guitar, also sporting a Seymour-Duncan humbucker with coil tap.

Had a LTD Hanneman model, the JH600. Horrible guitar, gave it away to someone.
Local shop that I spend a fair bit of time in, is a stockist. I don't rate any of the ones they have stocked either.
Poor metal guitars. Far better off with Jackson or Charvel. Or even the new range by Grover Jackson, which do look utterly gorgeous

My fav esp/ltd axes:
Top guitar is Stephen Carpenter's model the second guitar is George Lynch's model. Just like there is Fender and Squier there is ESP and LTD. Alexi Laiho ESP model's have very fast playing necks.
