Hey Kev, well done mate. You've joined the ranks of the human elite.

As for the F chord. I go with what Andy said above. It's much easier when learning to play that shape a few frets up the neck.
I for instance mastered that shape by playing it at the 5th fret, where it becomes an A chord.
Once you've got the shape, it's fairly easy to move it up and down the neck.

The problem with playing that shape at the 1st fret, where it sounds in the key of F. The strings are much more tense at that point than anywhere else on the fretboard. Not great to have to concentrate so much energy on getting the barring finger right at that point, then finding you're struggling for energy to control the other fingers.
So build your strength up further up the neck and get the shape, then blast it on the first fret in the key of F, in a few weeks.

And once you've got it, the B shape is a doddle.

Don't sweat it, sounds like you're doing fine to me.

you can play it very simple without any pressure only by practicing it. Play it a lot and soon it will sound correctly :)

Sorry to hear of your plight. Guillain-Barre Syndrome perhaps? Major mojo out to you for a speedy recovery.
