Guitar cords are a relic of the past. Wireless when improved, is the future, it will set you free...

"when improved" is the key. Good quality cables will always be in demand.

Has anyone tried Bullet coil cables? The Vox look cool as well. The Lava coils seem a little pricey.

Bullet coil cables are my favourites! The sound is good, but that being said I'm not exactly a tone expert. I don't really notice a difference in sound when I switch cables unless I go from a very high end cable to a very low end. I also recently bought a Vox coil cable, and they sound good as well, I just like the Bullet Cables better because of colour choices.

Not if you regularly use a vintage fuzz they aren't.

mine is vox cable, average cord like and NOT the spiral type. Spiral type cable is good but it broke after 6 months. So, i prefer average ones :)

The one that works.:) Outside of that, I'm notto picky, as long as it's solid. I avoid really cheap cables, but otherwise buy whetever strikes me at the time.

+1. Every good cable still produces its own flavor.. as long as the cable isn't an absolute POS when I'm buying it, it's good enough.

I use Live Wire Advantage cables. They also come with a lifetime guarantee. I’ve been using the same sets on both my guitar and bass for over three years now without any problems at all.

Just plugged my wireless into a 71 Shin-Ei fuzz. Works ok.

Wireless is better than cables now. Just not always the most apt hookup method. You look a bit daft playing a phone booth with a wireless.

Wireless whenever it's worth it (room-wise), otherwise Vox coil.
