You didn't use the magic word!

1982 Roland GR505 24 pin guitar synth controller. The letters on the pick guard are my own creation, other than that it is all original.

I'm a big fan of the tiered design and the gently sloping pedal surfaces. My board is built in a similar fashion.

I built the board from scrap wood around the house. The bottom angled supports were cut from pressure treated 2x4s, top is 3/4" plywood. The result is a very rugged and wicked heavy pedalboard. Too heavy. I don't lug it around more than once a week so its not worth a rebuild.

I saw your board on another thread. Very neat and tidy. I thought about drilling holes to put the wiring underneath but I'm afraid of losing flexibility to move pedals around. Either that or I'd end up with a swiss cheese mess on my board.

I originally got that idea from a pedal board pic I saw a number of years ago on a different forum. It was a European made pedal board (was not available here) made from extruded Aluminium in several different cross-section shapes with what looked to be a (not quite) 3/4" hole every 2" or so (European, so prolly a 17mm hole on 50mm centers) on the shape that made the platform(s). The kit was kinda like an old fashioned Meccano child's toy set. You selected pieces and assembled them in your own configuration. It looked very versatile. It wasn't available to me but I robbed the hole idea from it and have since seen a few other guy's homemade boards with holes. It really does make everything look much tidier.

I know this is an old thread, but it's the one that came up when I did a search. Here's my first pedal board, still under construction. I'll use it for the first time at rehearsal Friday night.
I have: TU1, CS3 w/Keeley mods, TS9 w/Keeley mods.
I separated the Golden Cello and 1 pedals because they want to be direct from the guitar.
Out of my amps loop I have a GE7, Sonic Stomp and Boosta Grande. I feel that the EQ should shape the overall sound after all the pedals and preamp, I don't want to add more boost to the preamp since it will just compete with the OD pedals so I have that in the loop, and the Sonic Stomp recommends it be put in a loop.
I have a couple of holes for expansion. I"m considering a couple of Eventide pedals or possibly their H9 multi pedal that can be loaded with all of their pedals and controlled with an Ipod or Ipad. Anyone have any feelings about Eventide?

Oh how I wish this thread hadn't been resurrected. I've since moved away from pedals. I am quite content playing through just my deluxe reverb, though I do have an old OD around for when I'd like a smidge more breakup.

Well you didn't post any pictures of your board, so by the rules of the forum, it didn't happen! So, your safe. :)

Finally got a pedalboard worth posting here.
This one is made by Ghost Fire. Very happy with it:
