Bill, Now that is exactly what a golden retriever is like! I have two goldens myself (Bongo & Ginger) and Chowhound does not even come close to describing em! We have a similar food container, but we have to keep it in the food pantry because they figured out how to open it. Yep, gotta keep the food under lock and key with em! Nice golden.

The food container is normally in our utility room. We had it on the deck to clean it out. Lily didn't believe us when we told her it was empty.
