ahhh we might have a winner here. I'm using the included transmitter pack ... do you think getting the guitar bud might solve my problem?

Try playing about with the Squelch control, but I think it will be to no avail. Vulpinity has given you a well reasoned, scientific explanation of what could well be the problem.

Could you perhaps try someone else' transmitter should no other solution present itself?

Currently tempted by one of these myself. It appears to have some latency issues but I find the idea of being able to replace my tuner and receiver on my board with just a tuner far too tempting.
