Thought this might be of interest to SK Coppertele and other Beatle fans

They are reported to be the best tribute band around. The "George Harrison", in particular is a dead ringer, complete with movements and facial expressions (and a pretty good copy of "Rocky") in the second video

Interesting to see, how with 2 synths and sampling, The Beatles may have performed Strawberry fields and Lucy in the sky with diamonds (and other later hits) live

The first video is them as The Beatles in the early years, the second video is them as The Beatles in later years

Is that the uk? Looks like a very American show to me. I saw a group called the cavern Beatles ten years ago and they were doing the 2 different era thing. They were real scousers and between songs really had Beatles esque humour and banter with each other. They Also looked very much like them, and sounded brilliant.

Ha - marvellous! :D

George doing Here Comes the Sun is spookily good. Though I think he has the wrong pickups in his Gretsch Country Gentleman on Can't Buy Me Love - tish tish.

Is Ringo wearing a fake nose, or have they found a guy with a Starkey-esque Giant Schnauzer? Very accurate.

Cheers - C

Not much gets past you Mr C
The pickups do look a little different and Yes "Ringo" has had some prosthetic rhinoplasty!

(My god, you're good!)

Hahaha - hey Ted, you are a true gentleman. I think OCD is the phrase you are generously not speaking out loud...

Cheers man - C

Ceri, Love the reply !
Apparently, the bass player is naturally right handed, but taught himself to play left handed , not over extremely hard with single notes but if you watch him do yesterday on acoustic, his "dum chinga" looks decidedly alkward for him

Now you're making me self concious. I'm going to be playing George in a Beatles show next month and one of the songs we're doing is Can't Buy Me Love. I'm probably going to use my new Carvin. I tried my Guild Starfire, but it didn't sound right. I don't even own a Gretch! Oh, the horror!

I have posted topics on faux Beatle bands before and one of the absolute best I have seen is Rain-they use date specific gear and not modern remakes but actual period instruments Each one bears a more than passing resemblence to the Beatle they are portraying but the George character actually nailed every one of George's solos noto for note, not only that he absolutely nailed Clapton's solo on While My Guitar....,the guy is phenominal.I haven't gone to the links posted on this thread yet but I will be certainly doing so.
