I am going on 2 weeks and many a day I don't get to really play my X2. Sometimes I just plug in a guitar, volume on 2-3 in channel one and strum some first position chords. La Bamba, Cherry Cherry or Gloria just to hear the sweet sound. It may have the Mustang circuits and I own a Mustang and like it, but it is no SCX2. This is a special amp.

The tube snobs have their right to say "not pure". It does not effect my joy one bit. I can even take joy in them having amps that they really like. Owning a good Fender product is one of the modern world's pleasures.
