I have a 65 reissue twin reverb. The normal channel has become very quiet with not much volume and I can't get the reverb to work on that channel. The vibro channel continues to work normally with both reverb, vibrato and volume. The amp is almost 1 year old. I have not played it for around a month or so. What the heck is going on with this?

Well it's a trip to the service center for the poor bastard.....Something I did learn is that Fender rates their authorized service centers and you can ask for the rating when talking to Fender. I am taking it to a "gold" service center. I talked to the tech and he is saying it is probably an electrical issue and not a tube issue so everything should be covered under warranty......I will post the results when the repair has been completed...

Suggest you post this in the Modern Amp forum where many of us amp geeks hang out:

viewforum.php?f=13

I also suggest that you read your owner's manual:

http://support.fender.com/manuals/guita ... manual.pdf

Reverb only works in the vibrato channel.

Sounds to me like your V1 tube is bad.

That is what I thought just seeing the thread title before reading the post. I'm no geek but almost 5 decades of being around gear has gotten into my pores. 8)

BTW. Kudos to all the amp geeks. They make these forums work.

Turns out it was a loose wire on one of the sockets....a factory defect which was covered under warranty.....was only out of my amp for 6 weeks.....

A "Gold" service center took six weeks to repair a loose wire?

Should have posted in the modern amp forum like I suggested. And no, the reverb still does not work on the normal channel as I noted.
