I'm mad as hell and I'm not going to take it anymore!

Actually, it's a pretty good list. Damn we had a lot of good stuff to listen to when I was in high school.

I'd leave Guess Who, Three Dog Night, Thin Lizzy and Grand Funk Railroad off the list. All of em had some stuff I liked, but I don't see them as great. I should probably leave Foghat off too, but I just like em so damn much.

Damn, I missed Floyd too. Floyd might be the best of all time as far as I'm concerned. The Beatles have to be there also.

Allow me to add one more band...THE ALLMAN BROTHERS!!!

And you can't put the beatles in a list without also adding Elvis and his band (scotty, fontana etc.)

Hey man, please look at the fourth band on the list real quick. I think that may clear a little something up.

That's a good list. It sounds like a good part of the Rock section of my tape collectin in high School, but I'd have included

Steppenwolf
Canned Heat
Beck-Page era Yardbirds
Cream
Buffalo Springfield

My Blues tape collection was another story, 8)

SRV
Johnny Winter
Lonnie Mack
T-Bone Walker
Blind Willie McTell (talk about hard to find in '87)
Willie Dixon
Muddy Waters
Albert king
Robert Johnson
Albert Collins
Freddie King
BB King
Elmore James
Ry Cooder
John Mayall
Howlin' Wolf
Otis Rush
Leadbelly*
Lightnin' Hopkins*
Robert Cray*

*I didn't get into the last 3 until CD's were common, but I wanted to round out 20 picks.
