Because of where I live and the noise complaints, I was giving up on electric. Sold my DRRI and Godin Velocity and bought a Yamaha acoustic. Then I stopped by a nearby pawn shop and found another amp. The dirty channel is not very good, but the clean channel is surprisingly good with the external cab.

Sorta sucks I had to downsize, but I'm happy. :P I still have electric. :D

Kustom Dual 30RC and it was $50.

How close are you to other people?

When I jam I play loud enough for my whole neighborhood to hear and no one has complained. (people see me walking and they're all "Woah, you live in that noisy $@! rock house?")

But nice amp, hope you enjoy it.

Also, how would you hook an amp like this up to a cab? I want to do this with my Envoy, because it sounds so much better than my halfstack.

Thanks.

I live in a very small apartment and the speakers are 11' 8" from the wall they are facing where my number one complainer lives. Call it thin walls, or lack of insulation, but I had to downgrade and am pretty impressed with the new gear.

I should be getting a house soon after I finish up some loose ends. When you have kids, and grand kids, sometimes sacrifices need to be made.

I don't know anything about Envoys, but I just use the external cab speaker outlet.
